About the Artwork
As a child, I often hid inside a large wardrobe while playing hide-and-seek. Hiding held two opposite feelings at once: the comfort of being cut off from the world, and the quiet expectation that someone would eventually come looking for me. Over time, that memory has faded and blurred, like an old painting. Yet even in this corner of waiting, no matter how long the silence lasts, something remains—the small but persistent hope of being found.
